Mary Waithiegeni Chege leads the team at EMSI & Associates and has more than 20 years’ experience acting for a cross-section of clients, including project sponsors, public entities and corporate clients in the energy, infrastructure and real estate sectors. She has led and participated in multi-jurisdictional teams at every stage of energy project developments, from project feasibility and due diligence investigations, site acquisition and SPV formation through to the drafting and negotiation of project and concession agreements, financing agreements and security documentation. Mary is a Certified PPP practitioner and accredited trainer, and a member of the Law Society of Kenya and the International Bar Association.
