Thomas Högfors has accomplished a great deal with ABB since joining in 2011. General counsel for ABB in UAE and its oversight countries (Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Pakistan, Iraq, Iran, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria and Afghanistan) since January 2015, he has also been a key part of multiple ABB global workgroups including the global contracts, global services, global anti-trust, global purchasing (supply chain management) and the global nuclear groups. On the back of this, as well as his work on ‘multiple investments and divestments involved in the Group’s transformation to a digital leader’, Högfors has recently been trusted with even greater responsibility by the company, and will shortly be taking on a global role as head of legal and integrity for one of the company’s four major business divisions. Highly pleased with the success involved in his time with ABB, Högfors states, ‘I believe my promotion to global head of legal and integrity for ABB’s motion business is a sign that my work has been appreciated and successful’.
